Welcome to Our Little Ohana!

Aloha! Crazy is the world of blogging! I've had so many different blogs and yes, I'm making one more. This one, however, is a remake. I want my family blog to be open to more readers, but I don't want to put my kids' names, our home town, and our calendar out there for the world to
see. So I have created this new blog to take the place of my previous family blog. Many of you regular readers know our names and where we live and all that good stuff, so please don't comment with that information. My family will have nicknames and I'd very much appreciate you using those when you want to leave a comment. (And I love comments!) My husband served his mission in Hawaii so I've decided to use that as a little fun to our new blog!
Hope you enjoy reading!

Little trip to the temple

DSCN8433The other day I decided to head out to the temple bookstore while I had the kids all packed in the car. We went there straight from the gym (hence my no makeup, nasty hair look). We finished at the bookstore around 11:45 and I happened to have juice and snacks and a bottle in my bag so we went across the street to the temple and ate “lunch” on the picnic tables they have. I enjoyed showing KB the temple and teaching him how to say it and Angel Moroni on top! I felt kinda weird going up to walk around the temple in street clothes, but then I remembered this time that my dad went inside in running clothes and had to change in there before going in. So then I didn’t feel so bad. KB liked walking around the temple. We practiced saying “Angel Moroni” a lot and I think it ended up sounding like “Ain shull Wroni”. Close enough, right?

DSCN8441 LG must have liked being at the temple too! (And she was just fed.)

DSCN8451It was so hot and sunny, but he gave me one good smile.

I love the Temple! I also love your new hair even if you just got back from the gym and its a mess! Its so good that you take them to the Temple so they can see how important it is. I cant wait for the Christmas lights! The Visters Center during christmas is always so jam packed with people who see the bright lights and hear the music and want to know more! Wish you could be here to see!
