Welcome to Our Little Ohana!

Aloha! Crazy is the world of blogging! I've had so many different blogs and yes, I'm making one more. This one, however, is a remake. I want my family blog to be open to more readers, but I don't want to put my kids' names, our home town, and our calendar out there for the world to
see. So I have created this new blog to take the place of my previous family blog. Many of you regular readers know our names and where we live and all that good stuff, so please don't comment with that information. My family will have nicknames and I'd very much appreciate you using those when you want to leave a comment. (And I love comments!) My husband served his mission in Hawaii so I've decided to use that as a little fun to our new blog!
Hope you enjoy reading!

Saying goodbye to the AZ hotness and my BFF

A little family pic.

It was so nice to get to see my bff. We talk almost every day and haven't seen each other in over a year. It was totally worth it to drive forever and see her!

Just some LG squishiness!

KB trying to see BFF's doggies in the back yard one more time before leaving.

Everywhere you turned in Arizona...

Visiting my BFF in Phoenix

The first thing we did in AZ was eat at this DEElicious bakery called Essence. I am a hot chocolate lover. I mean, I really love hot chocolate! And this bakery had THE best hot chocolate I have EVER had! It was like drinking a delicious milk chocolate candy bar!

Then we went to my favorite store ever! IKEA! (I love their mock setups. Especially the ones that are an entire apartment with kitchen, living, bath, and bedrooms!)

Don't I look at home in this kitchen?! I need one like it!

KB loved the kid section!

I think he wants one of these chairs!

And I want this bed!
My BFF and I love dream designing our homes!

Then we went to RA for lunch! We love sushi bars!

Hoover Dam

When driving to Arizona, we went through Las Vegas and across the Hoover Dam. Unfortunately we didn't want to take the time to get out and check out the Hoover Dam with the ton of other people there. So, no pictures of the Dam itself. We did, however, get a photo of the new bridge. Supposedly, by the end of this year, the Hoover Dam will no longer be the way to get across the Colorado River. You'll be driving across this huge new bridge!

The rest of St. George

When we were in St. George, we took an afternoon to relax. Sand Hollow State Park has a lake that we went to. The water was so clear! And it didn't go above your waist for at least 30 yards! This was perfect for KB, who isn't a fan of staying in the first 5 feet of water.

LG loved playing in the red sand!

KB loved riding on the atvs!

I think Ku'uipo loved it more!

He even got me to go for a ride. And I gotta admit, it was pretty fun!
