Phone Pics This Week

The parsley I planted in my garden last year didn't grow. Look what I found this week in my dead garden!

Breathe Right Strips, you are SO awesome! I can breathe so good at night with you! But what the heck?! I wear you two nights in a row and you pay me back with a bruise? Gee wiz!

Harry & David is so awesome too! These pear chips are my new favorite snack!! Too bad I just finished off the bag.

KB dressed himself today. (Don't worry, Mom, I didn't let him go out like this.) He came in and said "Look at me, Mommy!" I said "You look handsome." and he said "No, I look cool!"

Publix.

Thanks for a good shopping trip, Publix. You always have car buggies available that make my kids so happy. They took turns laying on each others' laps while riding through the store. Your employees were so nice today. They played with my children and even gave them balloons! They had a blast in the car with them. Thanks, Publix.

Family Home Evening

My little family has struggled to have FHE in the past. Ok, so we've pretty much never had it more than one week in a row! I know. I'm ashamed. But after going to stake conference 2 weeks ago I decided it was high time I did a better job!
I know pride is bad. Bad pride is bad. But I sure am proud (good pride) of myself for making sure my family has had FHE the last two Monday nights! They were pretty short ones cause LG is pretty much done as soon as we finish the opening song! But we did it. Opening song, prayer, lesson, activity, closing song, prayer, and a treat! Our lesson the first week was on tithing. So I made each kid 10 mini cookies. They each had to give 10% to the bishop (daddy). Then they got to eat the rest!
And the song they're singing in the other pic is popcorn. Don't know why they're all doing a different motion! Ha!
Oh and I just made us an FHE assignment chart in photoshop! I'll print it and laminate it and do the same thing with little square pics of each of us and rotate the pics each week!

New Blog App

Could this possibly mean I can update my blog again?! Only if this app works. The way my photos look will be the ultimate decision maker.
We'll just pick up right here with this past weekend and the Krispy Kreme Challenge in NC!
The Challenge was to run 2.5 miles to the downtown KK store, eat a dozen doughnuts, then run the 2.5 miles back - all in under an hour! Dad was the only one to do it completely! Brother-in-law ate the dozen but didn't make the hour cut off. Nephew ate only 6 but finished the race! Sister ate 3 and finished and pushing a double baby jogger the while way! Mom and I were walking/jogging while I pushed a double stroller. We each ate 1 doughnut. KB and LG each had 3 or 4! It was a neat experience!
