This was KB and LG's first ride on a plane. KB kept saying "fly high in the sky!"
When we took off he kept saying "falling!" He was only scared a little, but still thought it was cool!
As we took off, KB was chewing Starbursts and drinking his juice. LG was eating too!
Then KB got to watch a movie! He was so good on the plane!
And then LG slept for the rest of the ride!
This first plane ride spoiled us into thinking this would be a delightful trip!
We were just dumb to think we could do all this without checking any bags. We had 3 wheeled carryon suitcases, 2 giant carryon bags, KB's mini kids rolling suitcase, KB's carseat, a pillow stuffed with blankets and jackets, and the kids to carry of course! Dumb. So, once we got off that first plane, we realized the dumbness of our trying to save 25 bucks. KB was insanely misbehaved in the airports. No real nap. Getting on and off planes. Wanting to pull his own rolling suitcase. Us not having the hands to carry him. Him not wanting to walk any further. Us forgetting the stroller. Us just standing in the airport waiting for him to get up and start walking again. Wish I'd had a hand to take a video...

yeah i thought you were crazy with trying to carry all your luggage.
I love that picture of you and Owen (and the fact that your eye looks almost droopy like mine and maizeigh's)
